The Gift
I’m looking back on this pastel painting I completed in December as a gift for my daughter & son-in-law. They had a very memorable destination/beach wedding & I created the painting so they’d smile every time they glance at the wall. In reality, it was a gift for me too as it took me away from our cold, snowy winter. I almost felt the breeze in my hair & the sand in my toes.
