It was exciting & affirming to sell this oil painting, “Verona Park Bridge,” to a buyer who saw it recently in a show. I wanted to play up the reflections & shadows in the water, & the texture of the stone bridge & make the viewer feel the sun on their face. It was both fun & frustrating to paint this one!
